Movie review thread...

Lion
Bloody hell, outrageously emotional movie. The better half basically spent the whole two hours in tears. Pretty amazing story very well told, hard to fault it. India is a fucked up place, huge disparity between rich and poor and 80 odd thousand kids go missing every year which is absolutely nuts.
Would recommend.
4.5 long train rides out of 5 lost children.
Yes, the emotional payoff in "Lion" was huuuuuuge when spoiler happened. I fucking cried like a 6 year old girl with a skinned knee.
I really enjoyed that film.

Are we just reviewing actresses in the movie review thread now?
In that case, Brie Larson is hot in a 'real' kind of way.
Speaking of Bries... Alison Brie. After analysing my own filthy mind, I think it's the innocent looking face coupled with eyes that yell at you she's dirty as fuck. And then hearing her talk in interviews to confirm that yes - dirty, filthy, little, minx.

BLack BUtterfly, Antonio Banderas, Jonathan Rhys Myers, Piper PErabo.
Decent enough thriller, at 90 mins is a good length not dragging shit out too much, with a decent twist (except for the most pathetic additional 10 second twist at the very end)
Banderas is a struggling writer who has had limited success trying to sell his idyllic cabin in the middle of no where, when a chance encounter with the seemingly nomadic Rhys Myers sees things take a change for the worse.
3 random hitchhikers our of 5 twists.
LIfe, Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhall.
A thriller set on the ISS where they discover an organism from Mars. Bit of a poor mans Alien
2.5 pieces of chewing gum out of 5 obvious endings

I've always said that Alison Brie is some decent melanin away from being the perfect woman.

Really , we need some rules in this place. If a woman gets two or more mentions as having all the attributes to appeal to superficial people such as ourselves a photo needs to posted.

Kiera Kightly is a fucking pretty woman.
I like curves, but she's still good to look at
Gorgeous face.
Really beautiful. Would bang.
Me too. She is so upperclass sexy. Far too skinny though.

Very nice. Would trade for Gal or Mila Kunis though
OMG, Gal Gadot is smoking hot. I'm sitting there watching Wonder Woman, and torn between lusting after Chris Pine or her more.

@Mokey Why choose? Cue increasingly dodgy comments from one particular poster in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1......
Just one?
@Mokey I don't get the Chris Pine thing, at the risk of setting of getting a few sideways looks, as a straight male I can generally tell why the ladies like a particular male, but man do I not get it with Chris Pine.

He's hot. Buff. Hypnotic eyes.
If you want to talk illogical lady lust, talk to the women who swoon over Tom Hiddlestone or Jared Leto. Blurg.

He does come across as quite charismatic on screen I'd suggest

@Mokey @canefan Nope, still don't see it.
But he was good in Wonder Woman.
Free Fire: Gun deal in a warehouse in Boston - goes pear shaped because everyone involved is a dick. Good cast of not too big names - Armie Hammer who is hilarious, Brie Larson who is hot, the Saffa dude from District 9, Cillian Murphy, Sam Riley, Jack Reynor and a few others. Ending was a bit predictable but that doesn't detract from it. It's basically a 90 minute shoot out.
4 AR70s out of 5 M16s.
