@ACT-Crusader They look good to jump into the 8 now.

Only thing that worries me with that team is Jimmy Butler. He has a bit of a cancerous personality.

He didn't like the direction that Fred Hoiberg was taking Chicago and apparently voiced his displeasure. He respects Thibs so will more likely stay in line

@ACT-Crusader It appears that Thibodeau is creating the Bulls mk2.

With similar lack of quality outside shooting

Lonzo Ball with a monster game in the NBA Summer League for the Lakers - 36 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds, five steals and two blocks

Followed up today with another triple double. Although he shot poorly this time it's apparently not been done in the 13 year history of the Vegas summer league

Good to see Corey Webster out there for the Mavs in the Summer League. Looks in good shape. Went off the boil at during the last NBL season, so good on him for working hard and getting his body and head right.

Summer league is just not much of an indicator of anything though

No you are right. But the last person who posted numbers like that was a scrub named kobe Bryant. We will see

Summer league is a weird thing.
Lakers will likely form a super team next summer and your good times will roll...

Anthony Morrow wasn't a bad player when he started in the league. Was a good scorer off the bench at the Warriors and New Jersey averaging double figures. Then he became a bit of a journeyman.

I think Ball will be okay. He's got an NBA ready game as a passing/rebounding point guard. Might have the odd big scoring night, but I think his vision and quicks is what the Lakers will want most out of him.

If LBJ comes it will be happy days. The Cavs and Dan Gilbert are trying hard to chase him away
