Movie review thread...

Saw Spiderman today, it was really fun. Thought they nailed the theme how it sucks to be Peter Parker, and the frustration when you're not Spiderman. And how doesn't get to be a kid. Definitely worth a watch.
Just watching Wyatt Earp, jesus it's not a patch on Tombstone.

I hope that Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets lives up to the trailer

Kevin Costner as Wyatt Earp

Doesn't matter how many times I watch it, Ronin is a fucking cracking film
Motherfucker... I've got probably 200 unwatched films downloaded, queued up, and then you go and mention Ronin - and I have to go watch that again.
-
@mariner4life Marisa Tomei as hot Aunty May.

Out of Bounds (1986)
Film Comment's podcast recommended this 80's action/romance/thriller starring Anthony Michael Hall. It was pretty goofy, but good fun. Some nice action sequences and shots. The "punk" love interest was very cute. Stewart Copeland score. Nice performance from Siouxsie and the Banshees.
6.5/10
There's a decent 720p web-rip on the torrent sites.

Just saw the Trailer for Dunkirk. Looks like a cracking film. Great cast. Also looking forward to Kingsman 2.
Not often you can meld great cast/clever dialogue/excellent action.
Dunkirk is great. Much of the main cast is unknowns although Hardy and the BFG/Bridge of Spies guys are really good. Nolan plays around with the timeline a wee bit and people expecting a pure action film like SPR/BoB will be disappointed.

@taniwharugby That trailer seems to be the anti Christopher Nolan - all CGI/green screen and no location/film.
Gal Gadot is still hotter than an Australian bushfire though so that's a plus.

She's ex-Israeli military so you'd probably get snapped like a twig. But it would be worth it

As with many Nolan movies Dunkirk was filmed in 70 mm IMAX so only Auckland has the only theatre to offer the full viewing experience.
