Yeah, I was 100% wrong last year.
Definitely a final season in 2018. It was cancelled this year, but after the 2018 season.

@Nepia Mathew has always struggled with parts of what they do, while Elizabeth is pretty ruthless.
@Rocky-Rockbottom yeah Paige in particular annoys me, although I wonder if they are moving her away from the sullen teen to being a bit more of a kick arse...that last ep it seemed when she was walking to her car she was wanting someone to jump her so she could see if she could deal to them.
I think both parents see that moving back to the motherland wont be easy, Elizabeth looking at all her clothes, shoes etc.
Yeah, poor old Martha, got a good life there!
Haha yeah, Stans Missus of course is a plant.
They have something in mind for Matthews older son given we saw him again recently too.

It's similar to a dusk till dawn kinda feel. Just gets better and better for mine, another Yankee series with all Brit/Irish leads.

Oh shit yes. At one point I decided that Netflix wasn't doing a good enough job discerning what was intelligible English, so just went with blanket subtitles like I was watching SBS.
When Clarkson said there are people in America who are now breeding with vegetables, he had to be referring to this area.

Finished season 2 last night. I think if they do a season 3 they should go to that school that sucked they touched on mid series. Like their coach said EMCC is not last chance U its second chance U. They have scholarships and win nearly all their games with the majority of their players getting recruited. His school has walk ons and no money its the last place you can play, and no one gets picked up from there.
The kids at that school did seem to actually enjoy it though.
Thought the academic counselors little speech at the end was pretty poignent as well. She had some real empathy for those kids but not a lot for the coaches.

Also realised that since leaving Godzone I missed an entire season of Westside (with a third already underway). Hardly must watch TV, but the kiwiana aspect to someone on the other side of the world is gold. Love the effort put in to the props. Must have taken a bit of doing to track down all the cars and make them look 10 years old rather than 40 (when they had probably been restored to new). Ted West drives a red Sandman! Classic.

And some of the very deft touches in linking to Outrageous Fortune. (Rewatching OF after Westside, noticed that Cheryl makes a snide comment about her sausage rolls being store-bought, coz she wouldn't waste time making them from scratch. And so, Rita's party-specialty is home-made sausage rolls.)
And linking into the theme songs, with Rita becoming the muse.
Good to know Season3 has started... will have to grab some of that. -
@taniwharugby had asked me about the final series of Orphan Black and whether it was worth watching.
If you have watched the previous ones then certainly it is worth finishing the story if only to see what happens to Keira. The story has got quite twisted around and the earlier series were better from being less complicated. -
Started watching something called "Taboo" last night on BBC First. Stars Tom Hardy and it appears to be twisted as fuck.
