    Saw this in the paper this morning. Sounds like some of you should become supporters and get a jersey.

    Yes, look closely and those are sausages.

    @Crucial "In the paper" he says. That's an interesting term for "On the mantelpiece".

    Must admit the reading Metro on the tube is a poor definition of 'in the paper'

    @Nepia Sausage sizzlers aren't sausages.

    I'm with @canefane - a decent wurst chorizo or blood pudding mmmmmmm

    Good black pudding and fried eggs is a breakfast of champions that packs more flavour punch than bacon. I live them both though

    You're dissing bacon. You are absolutely dead to me.

    Not dissing mate I love bacon. I remember eating about 30 rashers of streaky bacon at the breakfast buffet of Jupiter's on the Gold Coast. Just like Supergroove I can't get enough! But black pudding is also awesome

    I really dig BP don't get me wrong but a sheeps stomuch stuffed full of the crap most people wouldn't feed a dog is just awesome.

    That's where you have been going wrong all this time mate, BG is mostly pigs blood oatmeal and onion!!

    I really dig BP don't get me wrong but the better half grabbed a massive slab of it which lasted several brekkys and I found myself getting a bit sick of it at the end. This would never happen with bacon.

    You are right, BP is richer. And I wouldn't be able to eat it everyday, whereas I was able to hit bacon every morning at the breakfast buffet in Fiji for a week no worries

    And I have to say that for a proprietorial brand Heck Sausages are surprisingly good. Try the 97% pork ones and try not to think what the other 3% is.

    Sounds like @jegga is dissing haggis now. @mn5 will not be pleased.

    Me neither come to that, haggis is a great occasional treat. Either traditionally with neeps and tatties (and a drop of your favourite malt) or as an accompaniment to seafood bizzarely enough. A small base of fried haggis with a seared scallop on top with a beurre blanc sauce is great. Just remember to substitute the scotch for your favourite sauvignon blanc.

    Scotland has a lot of things to be proud of. Cuisine is not one of them.

    I've never seen this show but judging by the hermaphrodite having a whinge about it I'd say it's probably awesome.
