Gave that a go and got bored halfway through to be honest.
The limited attention span of the ranga.
We do however man up and get over illnesses in hours, not weeks. We also don't whinge about them on every social media platform known to man.

I see the new season of Narcos is out, be interesting to see how it goes.
@Crucial struggling with Orphan Black, watched about 5 I think...

Think its more a case of you never get sick, right?
I mean, even bacteria won't touch a ranga.

@taniwharugby About 8 eps into season 3 and it's really good, obviously deals with the aftermath of Escobar being gone, Pena is the focus. Keeps ya anxious all the time.

Yeah. Don't except much more than a wrap up to the storyline.

finished current series of Killjoys...is ok as a time filler, not as good as the first seasons, but that happens.
Looked like they were gearing toward finishing the series completely, but maybe they got last minute funding for a new season cos it didn't 'end' as I expected it to.
Also started on Silicon Valley, think I am 4 eps in, is amusing enough, nothing special so far. I'll keep on with it as I like having some 30 min comedy stuff to watch.

New 'private detective' show called Strike from JK Rowling's 'grown up' books.
Usual silly whodunnit stuff not far removed story wise from any old Midsomer Murders etc except the production values are high, the acting is quite good and the use of real life locations around London without dressing them up makes it quite watchable.
Thank god they don't show the time it must take the lead guy to get around everywhere by public transport though. -
@Crucial definitely looking forward to the latter, as my signature will attest.
The Tick seemed worthwhile from the pilot, but I'll have to check out the latest eps, thanks for the reminder.
Finished S3 of Narcos, really good watch, was finding it stressful at times which is usually only reserved for tight AB matches, so they obviously did it well. Nicely set up for S4.
Not sure if that was the real Pena now....but sure looks like him.
-
I've had The Tick going in the background while doing some spreadsheet stuff and have to admit is has some funny moments.
there's a guy that gets radiated and starts growing bigger and bigger. They refer to him as 'Very Big Man' but we are informed that his real name is Clifford. Someone has remembered their children's stories.

Just started Narcos. A quick google search confirmed that Pablo Escobar was one of only 227 Billionaires in the world at one stage. I knew he was rich but not that rich. The other half has been watching it with me whilst doing her paperwork and as alot of the show is in spanish with subtitles she has missed quite a few key moments and completely blown the myth that women are good at multitasking. I can't see this show lasting unless something changes.
-
@MN5 needing to multi task is borne of poor time management skills.
Why cant you see you continuing with it? It is worth it, I also read the book Killing Pablo.
I like the shift in how he is portrayed which obviously follows the public opinion of him as well.

I just have a bad habit of not watching shows if the other half isn't into them. She certainly doesn't have that issue and will happily watch those homo vampire shows even when I point out they have no blood and can't get erections.

@MN5 So what you're saying is you're so under the thumb you don't get to continue on with good shows while being forced to watch the boss's crappy shows?
I prefer to call it being considerate. It helps me get sex.

Um, how do you know they can't get erections?
