Must win for the Bay! Turbos have named a good pack - we must provide a decent platform for Haimona. I am surprisingly optimistic. Backline looks good and some size in the pack this week. I think most of these players negotiate an 'out' in case big bucks come calling... Good luck to Fis'ihoi in France.

Not to sure about haimona his defence is awful. Surely his last season in a bop jersey. Give te aute a chance at full back. Also would like to see liam steel get a chance at center at some stage but foketi is good. With out delany running the ship i cant see us winning this but lets hope im wrong. Up the bay

I have been disappointed with Haimona since he got back from Italy. He hasn't looked fit this year - hopefully he'll pull one out of the bag! - think lineouts will be fine with good height, scrums - who knows, but we need big ball carries from the forwards. We must get over the gain line or we will not be competitive.

I am still feeling positive about this game...

14-6 down after 21 minutes and we're playing our usual brand of minor positives and major cock-ups. Dropped balls, forced passes, awful kicks. Manawatu look pretty slick and we could get hammered here.

Well, at least Haimona is kicking his goals so far.

This looks a little grim at 14 - 6 down.

The way the refs are reffing scrums this year is atrocious.

That scrum wheeled 180 degrees so no wonder the BOP loosies ran half the length of the field as there was no opposition...

Manawatu must be getting pretty frustrated, they've spent the entire second half in the BOP 22 with nothing to show for it....

@Gunner hey that's the only thing we've done in the 2nd half. Really wish we could catch a high kick ...

Commented on in the CM/NH game as well. Evidence building that the refs have been told to do this. We are seeing scrums getting hammered and then a back rower using the spin to pick and go over the advantage line with the stronger team having their forwards isolated from the ensuing breakdown.

I like the look of this Ioane guy BoP have on the wing. He runs elusively and with power and with what looks to be bit of speed too. How do you BoP guys rate him?

Surprisingly your lads are still in this, when they probably shouldn't be with the territory Manawatu have had.

With that break out BOP just made, I was thinking isn't rugby a funny old game sometimes. The poo attacking for 15 minutes solid and only 3 points to show for it, in the blink of an eye they could have easily gone behind.

Seems to be a trend away from taking penalty kicks these days, the All Blacks maybe to blame as trend setters in that department.
