@Crucial definitely looking forward to the latter, as my signature will attest.
The Tick seemed worthwhile from the pilot, but I'll have to check out the latest eps, thanks for the reminder.
Finished S3 of Narcos, really good watch, was finding it stressful at times which is usually only reserved for tight AB matches, so they obviously did it well. Nicely set up for S4.
Not sure if that was the real Pena now....but sure looks like him.

I've had The Tick going in the background while doing some spreadsheet stuff and have to admit is has some funny moments.
there's a guy that gets radiated and starts growing bigger and bigger. They refer to him as 'Very Big Man' but we are informed that his real name is Clifford. Someone has remembered their children's stories.

Just started Narcos. A quick google search confirmed that Pablo Escobar was one of only 227 Billionaires in the world at one stage. I knew he was rich but not that rich. The other half has been watching it with me whilst doing her paperwork and as alot of the show is in spanish with subtitles she has missed quite a few key moments and completely blown the myth that women are good at multitasking. I can't see this show lasting unless something changes.

@MN5 needing to multi task is borne of poor time management skills.
Why cant you see you continuing with it? It is worth it, I also read the book Killing Pablo.
I like the shift in how he is portrayed which obviously follows the public opinion of him as well.

I just have a bad habit of not watching shows if the other half isn't into them. She certainly doesn't have that issue and will happily watch those homo vampire shows even when I point out they have no blood and can't get erections.

@MN5 So what you're saying is you're so under the thumb you don't get to continue on with good shows while being forced to watch the boss's crappy shows?
I prefer to call it being considerate. It helps me get sex.

Um, how do you know they can't get erections?

Yeah. Maybe they're just not into you?

Binged watched Good Behaviour and Deep Water.
Both very good. -
@MiketheSnow yeah Good Beahviour is a decent watch, Michelle Dockery is tidy!
Watched a mini-series that aired on Nat Geo called The State which is a dramatization about British Muslims that go to Syria to join IS.
Obviously take it with a grain of salt, it claims a lot of research into it as it shows the harsh realities of what these people go through once there.
-
Norsemen
An excellent pisstake of recent Viking shows.
Only six episodes. Hardly any nudity.

Really enjoyed The State. Certainly a different take.

Ooh The Sinner is peaking nicely

Only Fools and Horses.
My youngest is obsessed with cars and has a thing for 3-wheelers. He was looking up images and found the Trotters' van. He asked me what Only Fools and Horses was and now loves the series and keeps imitating Del Boy and Rodney. It's terrific because I used to love watching that show with my granddad when I was a kid. Don't make shows like that anymore.
White Gold:
Series about double glazing salesmen in Essex in the 80s. Made by the Inbetweeners crew with 2 of the guys from that show. Quite interesting, but the main guy (he was on the abortion that was Gossip Girl) is just a total prick without charm or any redeeming features. If you're going to have an anti-hero you have to make it him likeable. Like I said, it's interesting to see how that industry operated and the 80s styles etc. but it's a very ordinary show. -

So you're not recommending then?

I guess less authenticity will be the go for the next season of Narcos...

@taniwharugby A lot of stuff left to explain!
