All Blacks vs Boks

ABs developing a bit of experience in their depth this year. Front row in particular with back-ups to the first choice front row looking like test quality players. In the second row, SB starting a big match instead of BBBR or SW wouldn't be ideal but wouldn't cause a national melt down either.

Yep. From the start they were looking to just power it up the guts. Can't do that for 80 against the ABs. But their set piece was a shambles as well.
SA have the players to play some amazing expansive rugby. The speed available is something to behold. But they seem to be stuck in this ancient mindset. Sometimes at home they come out of their shell and let it rip, but then crawl back under. So much squandered potential.

And how often are we worried about depth, when almost out of nowhere some freakish player arrives in Black making us all question what we were worried about...@Gunner yes I recall we were worried about hooker when Coles rocked up, then said there was no one good enough to deputize for him..

That second half was far more enjoyable, the overall quality of the game was far better, especially by the ABs (of course). That second half was the best I've seen the ABs play since sometime in 2016 (before the French test, which was when it started to go a bit downhill IMO). Nice to see the reserves make such a positive impact after the clusterfuck in Sydney

Barrett went bloody well at 6 though. Maybe he added some of the workrate that has been missing?

The Ioane brothers are possibly the most gifted players in NZ. If they both achieve their potential we are farking going to carve up going forward.
It's been difficult to gauge SB this season (he usually only gets 5 minutes) but what I like is his ability to do the job in tight while also being capable of ridiculous things like he did tonight.

We try to plan it so there's a different cup to drink from each week.
(Sorry - that game has truly upped my Arrogance, Hubris, and Condescension attributes)
