    Norsemen

An excellent pisstake of recent Viking shows.

Only six episodes. Hardly any nudity.

    So you're not recommending then?

I've been watching The Sinner. First 5 3/4 episodes were enthralling, end of 6th and 7th leapt right into batshit crazy creepy territory. Very, very interested to see what they do with the finale. Definitely has been A+ build up and red herrings.

@Mokey yeah I just caught up and yep, shes certainly creeping into WTF territory alright.

Obviously some of what we thought we knew earlier hasn't been very clear.

Gonna be interesting to see where they go for the finale.

Watched first part of Black Lake a Swedish thriller/horror about a group of friends on a trip to a remote ski lodge with a view to buying it. Spooky noises, strange child drawings, a weird janitor etc.
The scenery is stunning and there are titties.

Speaking of ... where is Jegga these days?

Halt and Catch Fire final season is airing at the moment - they're doing the search engine this season.

@milk The Punisher is just a special forces dude who becomes a vigilante and kills shit loads of criminals. That's basically an action movie setup. Will have to check that out. Hopefully there's a minimum of brooding and morals bullshit.

@tim You haven't seen him in the Daredevil series? He was easily the best part Daredevil season 2. And no, they didn't spend much time on brooding and morals, at least for that character. His character becomes a vigilante after his family get murdered so I guess some brooding is inevitable.

If you haven't seen it, at least check out the prison fight scene he's in....

    Warning, graphic violence:

I was seriously disappointed in the finale of The Sinner. After such gripping buildup in episodes 1-5, and the batshit crazy of 6 and 7, it was incredibly tame, disjointed, showed huge leaps in logic, forgot how certain plot points had been described (like winter) and offered some truly stupid moments. Did you kill him? No! It was ALL the other guy who is freshly dead. And in my opinion, it also left some key questions not answered, or answered in a VERY vague/weird way. So I kind of hope that isn't it, although with the number of deaths, not sure where they could go.

Know what you mean. But at least it wasn't a 'Lost' ending - literally and figuratively.

Alzheimers might have kicked in but what happened to JD?

Yeah - it was a bit of a letdown. Not really any twists or anything - just "shit, better clean up all the loose ends". And it only comes together because of a crap wall-papering job.
