Aaron Rodgers is done for the season with broken collarbone. All my fantasy football teams have just ended their season.

Another close loss for the 49ers but some very good signs from their rookies - they finally bit the bullet and put in their rookie QB Beathard when they were down 17 - 0 and he played well in his first NFL action - nearly bringing the 49ers back to victory. Beathard is now the starter so has a 10 game audition to see if he is the QB of the future for the Niners.
Also Solomon Thomas had a breakout game today. 9 tackles (2 for a loss) and a sack.

@kiwimurph Bout time they went to Beathard, Hoyer was struggling. They won't finish 0-16 but will be lucky to make it 2-14.

All these honourable draws are great. The young guys get slowly better and we finish in bottom spot!!

@canefan So do we draft a QB or just sign Cousins? Cousins won't sign if we take Rosen or the USC QB. Unless Beathard takes us on a 10 game winning streak I doubt he will be the guy.

Difficult choice eh? Cousins is good but I'm not sure he is the QB you build your franchise around for 10 years

QBs on rookie contracts allows you more money to spend on others. This is how the Seahawks did it with Russel Wilson.
Let's wait and see what Beathard does in the next 10 games. Ideally he'll be the guy so the 49ers can focus on other areas in next years draft and even trade down for a ransom of picks to other teams desperate for a QB.

Riaders move to 3-4, and Chiefs drop to 5-2 with back to back losses..
Lead changes everywhere, and the plays even after time expired due to penalties..

I looked at the score online and saw the Raiders were down 30-24 with 24 seconds left and just assumed the Chiefs had the defence to win the game.
AFC West is looking to be the best division this year. Broncos, Chiefs, Raiders....even the Chargers are doing ok....

Cardinals lose their QB Carson Palmer to a broken arm. Key players are falling like flies this season.

Awesome that Duke TV has NFL on Mondays. New England Patriots are doing well in their Superbowl rematch against Atlanta Falcons. Score is 10-0 in the second quarter.
