Some how I have completely ignored the fact this was to be played in bloody Brisbane. Now I have plans to watch this at a friends and I could have watched it live.

I do wonder if Julian being dropped has had an adverse effect on Ardie's form. Not having Julian within the set up etc. You'd like to think at this level such things are not factors but I do wonder.

        Todd gooooone.

        Ardie in.

Bit disappointed for Todd TBH, there was a hint he had moved ahead in the pecking order.

Indigenous jersey is getting some great promo in Brisbane.

If they get 50+ at this game that will be amazing. If I had to make a crowd prediction at half time in Bled 1, I'd say they would be lucky to get 10k.

A combination of good timing (no footy or cricket to compete against), good marketing (Indigenous jersey is a great idea) and good form since Bled I has saved the ARU.

I still don't like that we are going into a test match without BBBR.

No one likes going into a test without BBBR, but I will still vote for him as MOTM.

@barbarian I checked on Ticketek last night and most sections had no tickets available, a few had 1 seat spots only and a couple of the Platnium sections still had blocks of 6 or so seats, so seems like a solid crowd.

Hmm. A month or two back we were going. Mrs boo had booked the hotel and everything.

There may have been a thread on it ...

But life happened and we couldn't get away. So warching from the couch.

                      😞

Was however expecting tickets to be dumped at zero cost. Quite (pleasantly) surprised after Bled 1, and after the last time they played here to a stadium that seemed less than 50% full, that they're getting close to capacity.

Remember this from 1996? I was chopped at the student pub, remember Mehrtens big run, but missed Buncey actually scoring it.

                              Fark, Bunce was awesome.

Commentary re: Atlanta reminded me that was a very-very-very good week. Danyon Loader won a pair of gold medals and ABs sewed up TN with that win against the Okkers. Good times!

I'm looking forward to this one, I am nowhere near as confident as in the past. We are just missing so many starters and even with all the talk it is still a dead rubber. Hopefully the boys who are trying to impress bring the enthusiasm required to lift the team.

I think the key will be to nullify Genia, he was masterful last time and we just gave him too much space. I suspect Cane will be given a pair of his old undies to sniff so he has a decent track.

I am also looking forward to seeing how Lima goes starting, I like him as a player and look forward to his pairing with SBW. His boot may also come in very handy.

I have a 10 hour shift at work today (Australia) and I have not heard a single person in my entire workplace mention this game all week. Looks like the crowd in Brissy maybe all the bros from the Gold Coast.

I'm an avid Rugby fan, a politics and data nerd, and an analyst by trade - with the result of NZ's election finally known, I've crunched the results of every test the All Blacks have played and mapped it against the political party in power at the time of the test, dating back to 1935 (when the first Labour or National government was elected)…

In the 137 Wallaby tests since the first Labour government was elected on 06/12/1935, the All Blacks have a win rate against the Wallabies of 71.43% when New Zealand has a National Prime Minister, and a 69.81% when we have a Labour Prime Minister...

That could suggest that the Wallabies chances of winning have just increased by 1.62%

@taniwharugby Haha, gold! I see one major flaw though. He should have taken into account what government the Aussies had at the time as well! πŸ˜†

I read that rain is expected in Brisbane for most of the day.
