I targeted Queen Street in Auckland with an "Ivy Mike." I was curious to know the air blast radius that would collapse most buildings. Albany to Papatoetoe, apparently. (Ted 'n the hippies on Waiheke Island will likely escape with third degree burns.)<br />

True, but I'm not particularly familiar with Sydney. Obviously, the last place on earth I'd want to nuke is NZ, but I have the mental suburb map of Auckland imprinted in my head, and was pretty curious how far the blast and damage would go. (I thought the fallout might be Whangarei to Taupo, but was wondering about the actual blast radius.) -
I picked the biggest and dropped it on Auckland central, the fallout gets to just south of Kaiwaka.
