What a performance from Prince there. Unbelievably awesome.

Tom was good in his own right though. Plenty of decent material to sing along to in the car.

One of those artists who was just kinda there for years without being one you either really loved or hated.

@mn5 Both gone now, and were remembering George Harrison. The Heavenly Wilburys will now have the makings of a band.

    Fats Domino.

No more thrill on blueberry hill.

For some reason I always remember him in the doco Jools Holland did on American music. Must have been a big thrill for Holland to sit and play with the big man.

He was a throwback to a different era, but 40 years old is much too young.

I absolutely love this track. Think they absolutely nailed it with the vocals. Starting off with the beautiful smooth vocals of Harrison, build it up with the unique and original Orbison, before smashing it into the chorus with the absolute pigs ear of a combo of Petty & Dylan.

Dunno how it works ... but it absolutely does.

I've listened to this song multiple times on multiple nights. And will keep doing so. Just magnificent.

RIP Higgins. No, the other one!

Despite his English accent on Magnum P.I. John Hillerman was born in Texas.

Phew, I'm relieved about that! And yes to answer the obvious question that is where this Higgins got lumbered with the Higgins name from. Never having seen the show I have no idea whether it is complimentary or not.

I used to love that show. One of the best intros of any show in the 80s
