    Finished Mindhunter, really enjoyed it. I was basically watching an episode a day but when mini binge and watched the last three last night. I like how the main character is annoying as fuck.

    Has led me down a rabbit hole of reading about serial killers, which isn't that pleasant.

    Stranger Things 2 now.

    @jegga That Kennedy stuff was actually interesting - but yeah, that Manson stuff was a bit freaky. Rogan is good value when not getting stoned.

    @nepia if you haven't already you should read Mindhunter by John Douglas. Great book.

    halfway through Stranger Things...

    :::

    Thought the ep with her sister was a bit meh, and glad El decided to go back to Hawkins, although I expect wont be the last we see of her sister.

    :::

    Also had a look at a Discovery doco about Finding Pablo Escobars millions...a couple of ex-CIA go hunting for his legendary buried millions.

    They said at his peak, he was pulling in $60,000,000 a day and had 20% of all US $100 bills in circulation!

    Just finished a 6 part doco series The Disappearance of Maura Murray. This case is darker. Brilliantly done though and thoroughly intriguing. Speaking of which, where is the podcast thread...

    Completely agree. Said episode was completely pointless filler. Great finale though.

    Finished Stranger Things....and having finished it, that whole episode with her sister was one of the stranger things about this series....

    haha, seriously, almost as good as S1, they nail all the 80s feel, themes and attitudes again.

    Have to assume they'll be back for a 3rd series, and if they can keep up the quality, why not!

    Yep good show all round. They've set it up for another season or two at least. I was actually surprisingly upset when the douchebag played by the guy who played Sam in LOTR bagged it.

    Sister episode was pointless as was the tough guy big brother of the ginga girl character. There was no point at all in him.

    Watch Beyond Stranger Things as they (Duffer Bros) explain why they introduced the character of Billy. Also the episode with the sister setup how Eleven could channel her rage/powers in the final episode.

    Speaking of the final episode, the scenes at the school dance were brilliant.

    @virgil apparently born in Perth to a Kiwi dad and Canadian mum (according to his IMDB profile)

    his caracter was stil a cnut (just for you @MN5 )

    @Bovidae still, a whole episode of that just to teach her how to channel her rage better...especially when last season was 8 eps, this one 9 with a filler ep? Will still have a look at that though.

    @taniwharugby

    Ep 7 is easily the lowest rated episode of the entire show so it wasn't popular with the fans. Just saying why they had that episode.

    @bovidae that Dustin was obviously a popular character last year so got a much bigger role this season.

    Yeah there was a lot to like about the finale.
