    If the description of the new jerseys are accurate then green is the new grey - highlanders, canes and chiefs all have green listed as an away colour. Crusaders have switched to white away jerseys and blues appear to be going for the same colours home and away.

            That might be a goer - a pilgrimage to Pinetree country. I've never watched a game there.

                is that a test to see if you're a true supporter - ordering the jersey without seeing it?

                    Is this the start of a revolution at the Chiefs? Are their troubles just beginning?

                      @kiwipie

                      In what way? A Taranaki takeover (coach and CEO)?

                      Ferdi played for Waikato and was also a Chiefs captain so has an association with them.

                                      That’s an interesting development. A number of Irish coaches plying their trade in various unions/comps. O’Shea at Italy national team, Bradley at Zebre, Cullen at Leinster, Jackman at Dragons, McCall at Saracens, Humphreys at Gloucester, Davidson at Bordeaux-Begles, and now O’Gara shifting to Crusaders. I reckon O’Connell is going to try his hand at some point.

                                        Very interesting, you would have to assume he would be taking a pay cut from a well funded French club to the Crusaders. Maybe he just wants to be involved in the NZ system to see what its all about.

                                          That is a very interesting coaching appointment. After employing a very NH-esque style of back play during much of the Blackadder era, they seem to have gone back to more enterprising, shall we say NZ-esque, play. They now get themselves an NH backs coach....

                                          No doubting his credentials, he is an all time great of the game, but I have massive doubts as to whether he will be the right fit.
