Another meh episode overall.....I did like Daryls ruthless execution of the guy they were negotiating with though.
I wonder how many him and Rick have killed between them over the years?
That was a great end to a tiresome scene. I had no idea who that guy was even though we're supposed to remember him I guess.

@nepia yep, kinda like that chick last week, they put a bit of time and focus on her, only to kill her, making you wonder who TF she was that they gave her a decent speaking part!
As above, this war needs to end soon and get a bit more structure to the story, too chaotic and directionless!

I don't mind a long war, if it wasn't so directionless and ham fisted. My idea of a guerilla war culminating in a big battle near the end of the season is much better than what they're doing.

@mn5 there was also the dude that had the gun on Rick that Daryl killed, I don't remember him, but he and Rick obviously knew one another.
@Nepia yeah I guess, I just see the war as central to the headless chook storyline at present. At least we have been saved from Negan adding to the chaos (as I said, I like him in small doses)

My issue is that i have no idea who is actually on who's side. Lots of aimless shooting. It's like a video game.

I actually liked last nights ep.
LIked that we learnt a bit about Negan and the flashbacks slotted in pretty well.
The scene with Rick & Darryl was a waste of time though, just a bit too much testosterone.

When Rick went off on his own after his dust-up with Daryl. A helicopter flew by. And then some dude was watching him through a telescope.

Early, ahem, available versions of this episode were missing about 4 minutes at the end.

@nepia didn't watch an early ep, plus there aren't early ones are there, I mean it is only a matter of hours between US airing and NZ airing.
Obviously wasn't paying enough attention...maybe its the chopper form the people in FTWD haha

I was talking about episodes acquired by other means ;).

@mn5 yeah that was dumb AF by Rick.
LOved that scene with the rocket launcher
I hear they are doing a crossover between TWD and FTWD with MOrgan heading to FTWD, which I guess shows which show needs the help, although reckon thats where they shoulda sent Negan for a couple of seasons as we learn about him (assuming they are not running concurrently)

Fuck yes. That was absolutely awesome. Not much left of him after that.

This show just never grabbed me in the first place. We have had plenty of discussions about what made it great for some, but how/when did it jump the shark so badly that it has rapidly gone from one of the most watch shows on TV to one that people can't be bothered with?
Did they just run out of ideas in a limited environment?
