        I read somewhere that Vermulean had joined the squad ... why wouldn't they play him?

          @majorrage

          There are four changes amongst the forwards. Steven Kitshoff replaces the experienced Tendai Mtawarira, who is suffering from a groin injury and not available for selection.

          Malcolm Marx has shrugged off his shoulder problem and takes over the hooker duties from Bongi Mbonambi, who moves to the bench.

          Siya Kolisi is back in the side after missing the Italy Test because of paternal leave, and he comes in for Francois Louw on the side of the scrum, while Du Preez will also earn his first start in the No 8 jersey as the replacement for Duane Vermeulen.

          Louw, Vermeulen and Franco Mostert (lock) are back at their overseas clubs and not available because this match falls outside the World Rugby Test window.

          Meanwhile, the uncapped duo of Lukhanyo Am (centre) and Louis Schreuder (scrumhalf) will join Mbonambi on the bench as two of a number of changes amongst the replacements, with Uzair Cassiem, Oupa Mohoje and Ruan Dreyer also included in the in the matchday squad.

                  Wales are adapting well to having a complete backline instead of an extra lock in the midfield. Once they can all pass and catch, they'll be a bigger threat. They're creating opportunities.

                    Hadleigh Parkes is good now? Welsh fans seem happy with him being there.

                      Been a great club player for the Scarlets.

                      But why he's been brought into the Welsh set up is beyond me.

                      At best he'll make the World Cup.

                      But with Owen Williams, Scott Williams, Jonathan Davies, Owen Watkin, Tyler Morgan we're not exactly short in midfield.

                          Hadleigh Parkes scores a try in an international test, who woulda thunk? Springboks still asleep, Wales looking eager. Good kicking game so far

                                  Coetzee should be updating his CV, and making sure he lists 2016/2017 as "backpacking around Asia".

                                    If we're accurate then we'll win this.

                                    Set piece showdown and they'll claw this lead back quickly.

                                        Marx about the only Springbook that plays well (apart from one horrible lineout, though not sure whose fault that was). Three turnovers won in less than 30 minutes.
