While all of you have been discussing lesbos supping at the pink cup there’s been some incredible things happen in our nation. Hosking and Street have quit a show I never watched and maybe replaced by ......wait for it......the Beyoncé of the news.

Well you certainly bought that back to the title of the thread with a jolt.

Can we go back to lesbians and pies now?

Look my deep abiding affection for fur traders is well documented but this is the Beyoncé of the news we are talking about mate.

Apparently they are looking to reunite Hillary Barry and John Campbell.....

If the fern had a dislike button it'd be crashing the system right about now....

Why can't we get back to girl on girl action?

I must say I was shocked to see no mention of Laegertha on Vikings switching over to the sapphic side on the tv series thread . It was a pleasant surprise to see one of her fellow Valkries enjoying dinner at the y.

How times have changed, when discussing "lesbos" it was all about "supping at the bearded cup", sign of my age?!?

Well done Ferners, a very entertaining jaunt down to giggle town. My personal highlights

"steamy scissoring saphites than hairy cock gobblers" and combining with "rat tailed & arsehole" $2 pies.

I'm sure if we tried hard enough there is an off colour joke about eating pie, supping at the pink cup and dinner at the y. But I will leave that up to the more talented in Fernikistan

well to kinda side track this thread somewhat...been amusing reading these the past few days:

Reminded me of a story a few years back where Charity shops were saying don't give us your CRT TVs, no one wants them, they want flat screens!

Seems some in need of help are fussy about what help they get!

    started with this
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/99767397/give-generously--but-please-no-tinned-tomatoes-or-chickpeas-say-charities

    then this one
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/99813458

    and now today
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/99881805/the-shelf-of-tinned-tomatoes-and-nothing-else

@taniwharugby Well they are correct that chickpeas are unfit to feed to people.

As for Hamilton - is there scientific evidence that tinned tomatoes cure STD's? Just asking because a friend...

Even ferals. It's chickpeas FFS, don't be so cruel.

No point in going to the Dr if tinned tomatoes will fix it.

@taniwharugby we've had a similar experience trying to give away all of our kids stuff that he's grown out of. Most of the charities are bloody picky and only accept brand new items which is ridiculous. We've unloaded his clothes on the City Mission as at least they take some 2nd hand stuff, but his toys and other things I'm ready to just throw out as it's more hassle than it's worth.

@no-quarter we sold a lot of the kids stuff in bulk lots on trade me..someone gets a bag of clothes for $5 or something, is better than it getting turfed! But then my Mrs helped keep Pumpkin Patch afloat for many years plus different clothing labels form the UK.

Mrs TR is always saying just chuck it, no one will want that...whereas I'm of the view if you are needy and need the charity you often don't care, whereas the other side of the coin is those that are taking handouts and not as needy, shouldn't be fussy!

parts of this could go in the awesome stuff thread...

I really maxed out when I saw them trolling a vegan thread. While a bunch of vegans happily swapped Tofurky recipes, this friend of mine posted a recipe for roast lamb.
    Shots fired.
Unsurprisingly, the vegan crew took the bait and started attacking the post. My friend responded with a picture of a pig on a spit. That's the adult version of stomping on someone's sandcastle.

then there was the thumbnail of another story that would have @MN5 clicking madly!

Don't be scared love, it has already happened!

what kind of limp-as-a-pissed-lettuce sap do you have to be to consider stopping being someones friend because they take the piss out of anti-vaxxers; vegans; and crossfitters on the internet? That shit should be applauded

I read that and imagined the troll as Michael Douglas character in the final scene of Falling down as he said” I’m the bad guy?” . The troll is better off without that sanctimonious prick as a mate.

We give all our stuff to the local hospice shops. They are always very appreciative. They take clothes toys books and even furniture. Good for all concerned

    Tinned tomatoes and chickpeas.

No problem saying 'we don't want them'. But, you don't then get to say 'our kids go to bed hungry'. Hungry is hungry - even chickpeas are food if you're hungry. It's like my kids saying ' I'm bored, there's nothing to do'. Of course there isn't you entitled brats, people don't exist to cater to your every whim.

This rant sponsored by Panhead's XPA, savouries and chips. FTW.
