I think they're making an English language version, which will have some people complaining they'll ruin it - but Korean movies like this one are so over the top melodramatic that I don't see how they could ruin it. They'll just make a different movie.

Great movie, the (relatively) big dude was awesome.

The big dude and his mrs were my favourite characters too, I thought he’d bust out some sort of martial art but no he was into good old fashioned roundhouse punches.

It's really racist to assume that jegga. I'm offended on behalf of all Asians.

I'm offended by your post on behalf of every one else in the world who has a martial art (Maori included - Mau rakau).

Well, you're from Northland so clearly you're Untermensch and not worthy of offending.

Solace. Anthony Hopkins is a retired Doctor/Psychic who works with the FBI to try track down a serial killer. Bit tacky, but an easy Sunday arvo watch. 3 flashbacks out of 5 flashforwards.

Well yeah cos he played a serial killer now he's helping catch them.....

Actually he did that in Silence of the lambs and Red Dragon too. Even though he was one himself.

    Deep.

@mn5 I know right? There's a lot of things happened since the 90's, you're in for a few shocks.

@mn5 Bro, I just posted up a review from a recent movie and you instantly dived back to the 90's to completely confuse me, as though there hasn't been 20 years of Hopkins movies since then...

That is his most famous role though. Good old Doctor Lecter.

It may be his most famous role but not really his 'defining role'. Is/was very well respected as an actor across various role types for years before and since.

PS: I understood your original comment

PPS: It was also a great chance for @Bones to try and pull you out of the 90s πŸ˜‰

It was a pretty decent comment, just way to highbrow for @Bones

He is from the Hutt though

@mn5 Fucking Taita. Or are you looking to move up in the world, Pomare on the cards? Maybe Naenae?

Feeble attempt to try and put yourself on a level with a Bourner.
