Sounds like Nicholls played the anchor role really well after the much vaunted top four were all in the shed. Great to see, not everyone needs to put it over the rope constantly.
With this innings, we now have 5 of our top 7 with averages of 40+
Kane, Taylor, Guppy, Nicholls and CdG..Will be interesting to see how long the latter 2 last with a 40+ average..

Concur. I still think the '03 and '07 teams were better if just because Bond was marginally more reliable as a wicket taker than Boult (when fit) & Vettori has not been replaced as an economic metronome - plus we batted much deeper.
We still remain a get to the semi final and see what happens team.

Pass mark for Munro, has generated a run rate to allow Guppy and Kane to get themselves in.

That's possibly a silly question since he's made a ton and a 50 in this series, but his last two innings he seems to be struggling to score.
He's held to some pretty fucken high standards compared to the others, even Taylor who also has a fantastic ODI record.
