    “Fast and Loose”

Maybe the sixth best song on the greatest record ever made.

Geezers be lookin’ old. But they still rock!

First track from the new Iron Maiden LP “Book Of Souls.”

Good old Steve Harris. At last count I think he was number 8 in my favourite Bass players. Bloody hard to crack the top 10 so well done to him.

JB is so far ahead of other guitarists ( apart from Hendrix ) it's not even funny.

I love his version of 'Cause we ended as Lovers'.
The old man had this album on record.

    @Salacious-Crumb
I’ve been listening to the post-reunion Maiden albums while on holiday. There are some really good songs on those albums. The Longest Day from AMOLAD is a particular favourite.

How many people out there can name another Motorhead song other than 'Ace of Spades' ? ( no Google )

For some reason they're mentioned alongside Sabbath, ACDC, Zep, Gunners etc when they don't really have any right to be.

Its more their influence on heavy metal , than their actual album sales I think.

    Killed by death
    Stone dead forever
    We are the roadcrew
    Eat the rich
    Louie Louie
Bomber- legend has it they played in Germany and they had a bomber as a prop hanging from the ceiling and Lemmy says to the crowd "haven't seen one of these in a while have you?' . Hope its true

Vague recollection of hearing this. No idea if true.

Was a lighting rig above the stage and was used in Dresden of all places. Original story was that it was a Lancaster but more likely to be later story of a Heinkel.

Fair call. I'm a massive music fan and I think their aura exceeds what they actually did which isn't always a bad thing. Every group I mentioned has that one song they're famous for but loads of others. Tough to think of the others with MH

Flicking around on Netflix and came across a documentary on Keith Richards. If you have any interest in American music history and especially the blues it's a good watch.
