Definitely. Phillips and Bruce seems unnecessary. Both are hitters who haven't established themselves. We don't need both of them, especially with de Grandhomme after them.

Instead we picked guy who can’t slide his bat and contributed 5 off 9. By that criteria Latham is also a shoe-in

It was always going to be difficult to keep to the required run rate against a quality Pakistan bowling lineup. Meh, if we were really worried about our win record we would have picked our best side.

Yeah credit to Pakistan. All series they've bowled well at the death so makes sense that it would be tough to score fast against them.
