Star Wars VII ****contains spoilers****

Watched TLJ once more. Ultimately it's a let down. It's honestly down with Phantom Menace in my personal rankings, some genuinely outstanding scenes notwithstanding.
No Star Wars film in history has even come close to introducing so many unlikable, irritating, pointless, shithouse characters.

Qui Gonn, Darth Maul, Mace Windu.......( obviously Jar Jar swings it the other way ) vs DJ, Rose and Holdo.

Jar Jar goes without saying but I didn't mind the other two at all.
As for TLJ can you seriously say the new characters brought anything worthwhile?

they were generally unmemorable. But, I didn't actively dislike them the way those others did ...

But doesn't what you say reinforce what I'm saying?
Every single previous Star Wars ( including Rogue One ) has introduced at least one quirky/evil/cool new character.
TLJ failed miserably in that.

Eat a Dick. I've thought long and hard about it. It's rewatch value is not up there with the others as far as I'm concerned ( even the much maligned Phantom Menace )
