    @mn5 if you go back you will see there is a direct link between the world being offended at everything and for everyone and the rise of veganism*

    I ran into a friend of a friend on the weekend... a full-blown activist-level vegan, he was standing with others at a stall handing out flyers, with posters about the poor animals... one of which was a big picture of a sheep... so presumably something about wool being bad. I yarned (pun not initially intended) with him for a while, standing there in my knee-length Swanndri... for which about a dozen sheep must have been shorn.
    When I left, he didn't offer to give me one of the pamphlets, nor did any of his colleagues.

    @toddy discrimination surely?

    What if you are vegan when you get the job then realise how moronic it is, are they allowed to fire you?

    That was gonna be my next point. You can bet if it was advertised for non vegans only those fucktards would be protesting round the clock.

    But what normal person would want to work for SAFE?

    May have been about mutton - so you could have yarned with him about how good a traditional rogan josh is.

    My wife always comments when she sees lambs sproinging around a field about "how cute they are" - my reply is always "and delicious too".

    I do most of the cooking and I'm not having anymore of the vegetarian crap sneaking in.

    @mariner4life

    I too googled vegan wine which led me here

    Vegan beer directory A-F - New Zealand

    Being ever so helpful - it is a list of Vegan friendly beers in NZ - I kid you not there is a web directory listing vegan friendly booze

    I need a drink

    And some fuckwits are then concerned about the labels on the beer.......I kid you not.

    @crucial yeah I had already thought of the glue conundrum

    What about organic vineyards that use "natural" fertilisers?

    I'm really conflicted - booze is my major source of fruit and vegetables

    That is a very low standard. I didn't actually know what Kate looked like (and picked the worst photo I could find).

    outcome of the inquiry would determine where this could end up...but knowing how soft NZ tends to be in a lot of these instances, not holding my breath

    Although TBF, a Dangerous driving conviction in NZ can be the result of having an accident while doing 110km or failing to stop at a stop sign and having an accident
