One of the downsides of the explosion of Netflix/Amazon made shows is that there gets to be a lot of promise around shows they have shelled out big money to make. The shows themselves end up looking great but aren't engaging.
One of the best streaming shows I have watched in the past year was Ozark. Quality writing, acting and performances
    Totally under promoted

Yeah Ozark was great. Can't wait for season 2.

AC looks great and the fight scenes and SFX are as good as anything you'll see in a movie but as I said the story and premise is boring as fuck.

I watched the first episode of AC.
Looked great, didn't engage me though and I haven't been in a hurry to watch any more.
I tend to enjoy good characters over flashiness.

Have been watching some Strike Back recently but despite the drooling on here the tittie count is very low. Two little AA cups that hardly even count. Fake news.

think I am upto ep 5 of AC, still like it...isn't a must watch or cant wait to watch, but want to see where it goes, which I guess based on other comments is part of the problem?

Think TWD starts back next week...

Watched an ep of a series that started on TV 1 last week, The Brave, which is a hoorah US Special forces series...everything happened so rapidly in ep 1 kinda hard for them to give me any characters to like/dislike or build a storyline rather than an ep by ep kinda thing - no T & A

I've recorded that as the reviews were promising. I'll probably wait until after Ep2 and watch both episodes together. It helps when you can FF the ads.

@bovidae I will give it a couple more eps before I bail or commit to the whole series.

Seal Team with David Boreanaz is another of same genre that came out same sorta time, I'm a sucker for these types of series, so will give it a crack too despite average ratings and reviews.

Doesn't Boyd Crowder have one of these SEAL shows as well? Maybe it's ended if he's going to LA Confidential.

Who can keep up. Checking IMDb it must be Six. I've never heard of it.

I've missed TWD. Weird how it took a break mid season although in the big battles lately I've been confused as fuck as to who is who....

My blood pressure hasn't, my annoyance with that show must keep it skyrocketing - yet still I keep returning.

I’m always quick to pick up on new shows so it’s no surprise I started watching this little low key series called Westworld. Looks to be quite good...

I need something to fill the void until the final season of Game of Thrones (April 2019)

Looks pretty good so far, given it’s based on a Micheal Crichton story and set in a theme park in just wondering when do we see the T Rex and other Dinosaurs running amuck?

@virgil the clue is in the name, Westworld, you need to watch Jurrasic World for those!

The lead is pretty hot, don’t normally go for people called Evan..

“These violent delights have violent ends.”

I watched Westworld again over Xmas/New Years. It was good to view again after reading about all the clues because there is so much stuff going on.

Only 3 eps in but really enjoying it. Looks to be a show with a ton of layers and twists/surprises. Obvious one being who’s real and who’s a host.
