    @nepia again I don't bother, just record it on TV2, and start watching about 10pm so I can skip ads, was struggling to stay awake by the end.

    Looks like the Saviours are in a spot of bother.

    Also I'm unsure why Rick essentially surrendered to that weird bunch? Why not just take their stronghold with all the guys they have?

    @mn5 yeah that was dumb AF by Rick.

    LOved that scene with the rocket launcher 🤣

    I hear they are doing a crossover between TWD and FTWD with MOrgan heading to FTWD, which I guess shows which show needs the help, although reckon thats where they shoulda sent Negan for a couple of seasons as we learn about him (assuming they are not running concurrently)

    Fuck yes. That was absolutely awesome. Not much left of him after that.

    Just got around to watching this weeks episode - I don't think I can even hate watch it anymore, it's just pathetically written rubbish these days.

    This show just never grabbed me in the first place. We have had plenty of discussions about what made it great for some, but how/when did it jump the shark so badly that it has rapidly gone from one of the most watch shows on TV to one that people can't be bothered with?

    Did they just run out of ideas in a limited environment?

    @nepia Ive been forwarding the sh*t dialogue for a couple of seasons now so it's probably time to give up. Last show I did this to was SOA. I was finding most episodes were shit but there was still a need to know what was going on in the bigger picture.

    yep, TWD has rapidly dropped from a 'must watch' to a 'meh I'm too tired, I'll watch another day'

    I know its a world of Zombies, but some of the stuff that has happened is getting a bit unbelievable haha

    :::

    HOw did Coral get bitten there? Seems odd the kid has survived mush worse all these years, and gets bitten off screen in a place that doesnt actually make any sense, unless he was sleeping when a Zombie happened upon him.

    Loved the show, couldn't wait to watch it then Negan batted those two dudes and I suddenly, completely lost interest. Why would I watch a show that made you feel like that after a hard days work? Tried to get back into it but now not so interested. I read they lost a lot of viewers after that one episode so I wasn't alone.

    So...the story of Coral....

    :::

    A bit of a different ep about a character that has gone from an annoying mopey kid to a badass sullen teen.

    Add in Morgan going psycho, it wasn't a bad ep given some of the tripe they have tossed up.

    Was some decent stuff mixed in with some crap. Carol's achievements make Arnies rampage in Commando look realistic.
    Her evolution from battered housewife to special forces soldier has been nothing less than remarkable.

    Yeah Carol is pushing the bullshitfightometer to absolute critical. I get that being in that situation would change people but surely she woulda bagged it around season 2-3. Loads of outwardly tougher characters haven't done nearly as well.

    Also the show is boring as fuck without Negan and Simon.

    odd episode.

    we have Negan showing love for poor Coral and then the trash walls seemingly as high as the Wall in the North with no one being able to escape the dump by scaling their walls.

    How good was it when the walkers ended up as mincemeat? Brilliant.

    That was good, but the Negan thing is getting ridiculous. His casualties have been enormous. No way people would stand for that, particularly with so many of them armed to the teeth and have absolutely nothing to lose by trying to kill him.

    I'm only watching this now because I've invested so much time in it. I honestly don't give a shit how it ends.

    erm, so now blood can infect you, or is Negan just stupid?

    Pretty sure this discussion has been had before, and previously it would seem saliva (via biting) was the transfer/infection method...

    @taniwharugby Yeah, there's been multiple scenes of people covering themselves with blood to escape.

    What is funny is I was avoiding this thread until I watched the episode, and I just turned the episode on - and yep, I've already watched it.

    @nepia yep, the numerous times they get blood splatter too, often on their face to go in nose, eyes, mouth, cuts, grazes etc...writers losing the plot?

    Think I'll see out this season and if they cant sort their shit, I'll probably still be a sucker next season, but at least I wont be watching FTWD...probably.
