Now the big talking point is what happens to this NE Patriots. Was this their Lakers V Pistons 2004 where it all finally falls apart? Malcolm Butler is definitely leaving for free agency, he seems pissed at being benched and all the talkback is now suggesting that McDaniels is going reject the head coaching role at the Colts because the Pats might need one soon.
I don't buy it. The more recent reports are stating McDaniels to Colts is happening.

It's obvious he's the heir to the throne. Colts will be pissed....
Sounds like it was a last minute reversal, as he'd been talking to assistants and making hires at the Colts. If he doesn't succeed at the Pats he'll be out of the league after pulling a stunt like that. Supposedly Kraft personally intervened to keep him because he wanted revenge for deflategate.

Watching the NFL parade right now, I'm actually glad Philly won. It really seems to mean something to them. As a neutral, this stuff is pretty cool.

I remember how I felt when we won Bill after 24 futile years. Imagine how it would feel after 60 odd years? That is the best feeling in the world for Eagles fans

Great signing and yeah, the 49ers have the cap space so they might as well use it. The other teams looking for free agent QBs won't be so happy - the market price just went up.

I think they'll move him to Denver if the Broncos lose the Kirk Cousins bidding war.

It's tempting but they'll take Sam Darnold with the 1st pick and that Notre Dame OL with the 4th pick. I think the Giants will take Barkley with the 2nd pick however and sign QB Case Keenum in free agency.
There are talks that Sam Darnold might not be the QB they are after. They could pick up a QB, Allen or Darnold with the 4th pick.

With LA Rams the new powerhouse in the NFC West, and the 49ers about to join them, it makes sense for Seattle to raise the white flag now and join Arizona in rebuilding their teams for 3-4 years down the road. You have to think Pete Carroll will retire this offseason or next.

Yeah but the US media will always talk about how they should have won more (And they would have if they had handed it off to Lynch).

Browns are getting busy, picking up Landry for 2 picks (unclear which) and Tyrod Taylor for a third. Also said to be picking up Demarious Randall CB for the Packers for unknown compensation.
Taylor doesn't stop them from drafting a qb but does mean they can be more confident with someone who isn't ready to be a day one starter (Josh Allen maybe?). Landry is interesting and I'll be very curious to see what the picks are. I think his statline is better than his actual value, so browns are probably over paying for a slot receiver that will want to be force fed receptions.
