The starting tight 5 in the Highlanderd game Hodgman, Parsons, Tuungafasi, Scrafton, Tuioti should be the Blues Starters. Tana can't afford to tinker around with his starting pack, they played well Pauliasi Manu needs to come off the bench. I like Pat T off the bench for impact. Whatever happens at half time the Tana and his Coaches need to change the script for two in a row the boys come out flat. The Team is good enough, it is not about mindset it is all about strategy.

@kiwimurph so Ruru to start, Nock to watch off the bench, but based on the way Tana selects, I expect Nock to get the nod.

Just saw on Instagram that the Blues were sitting in a hot plane somewhere and were melting without airco for (at least) two hours before taking off.

It’s not his fault. There’s an external excuse for Tana’s selections

Sorry I mean T’s selections (that what the cool kids call him)

I understand from Ruru's instagram that the Blues can't leave NZ today and that they've been told to come back (to the airport) tomorrow. Awful start to their African tour. To think they have to play the best SA team on Saturday (SA time)!

Herald claiming, based on seemingly nothing, that Nock will start:

Sam Nock, 21, will now be the starting No9 for the Blues on their tour of South Africa where they play the Stormers and Lions, two teams who would be tough enough for Tana Umaga's side as it was.

Anyone know who made the Blues Travelling Squad to South Africa? Hoping that Rurr and Perofeta made the trip it, prefer Ruru over Nock and Perofeta can provide the spark in the 2nd half when Gatland has a tendency to go flat.

@rocky-rockbottom quality, and showed the talent that Kirwan had to work with.

We've fallen so far we can't see out of our hole right now. Things could get worse before they get better.

                                FML. Blues. Fark.

Yes before the season started I was thinking of 2015 with the draw we had to start the season off. Man this season has the potential to turn to real shit, we may be looking at a wooden spoon battle.

@rocky-rockbottom Exciting new halfback Bryn Hall? Clearly you hadn't seen him play previously and were unaware of his tendency to spray balls round like a one armed man firing an MP40 before making this video.

Anyway, nice work, I wonder why I didn't do one for the Hammettuer - laziness I expect.

I agree though. Wright & Eklund would also do a better job
