I'm trying to watch Gone Baby Gone, but jesus christ what is Affleck doing with that accent? I've met plenty of people from Boston, and none sound even remotely like that.
I'm surprised you can understand anything he fucking says.

@catogrande I'm watching on amazon prime and they have subtitles in every language except English! If ever they were fucking needed ...

Daddy's Home 2
Good cast.
Amusing, cringe worthy, silly but I liked it.
3 step dad's out of 5 awkward dad moments

Jumanji - cool movie.
thought they got the casting pretty good, Johnson & Hart work well together, Black was very good as a teenage girl and the other chick is tidy.
I see another movie is already in the pipelines.

12 Strong - movie about special forces in the opening days of the Afghan War (after 911). Like a lot of their Iraq/Afghanistan movies it would be a good action movie if a non US editor was allowed to have a cut before it is released to non US theatres. Some good action, but way too much cheesy build up.

@tim I actually laughed out loud at work. She got smashed. "Ok, ready to join us in the circle?" as she lays in pain. Hilarious.

Just watched Thor. Was anticipating the sequel to Frozen. Sad.

Watched Thor yesterday - pretty bloody good, but not sure if was quite up to the hype it received. Loved the humour and characters - the Banner/Hulk banter was choice as. Amazing effects and I liked how they handled the powering up situation - I mean I don't have a chart but how the fuck do you work out who is actually stronger than who?? Last thing we need is a Dragon Ball Z scenario where people spend 2/3rds of the fight powering up to new levels of kick ass (note: will always have love for Goku)

Watched the Kill Bills over the weekend. The 2nd shits all over the first basically cos I left my brain on the pillow the moment Uma slaughtered a small army of sword wielding gooks without a scratch ( at least the violence in all his other movies is pretty realistic ). Despite that a very cool performance from her and David Carradine and Michael Madsen ( I always love his work, his best QT performance by far ) in the second......
So after seeing that my revised Tarantino rankings are as follows.....
Pulp Fiction
Inglorious Basterds
Jackie Brown
Reservoir Dogs
Kill Bill vol 2
Django unchained
H8ful 8
Kill Bill vol 1
Death Proof -

I need to watch both Kill Bills again.
I put True Romance in my top 3. OK, Tarantino didn't direct it (Tony Scott did) but he was the writer.
The Dennis Hopper-Christopher Walken scene is brilliant.
Great flick but I haven't seen it in years and not sure it truly counts to be honest.
