The Fighting Season
Story about the summer period in Afghanistan leading up to the elections. 6 part miniseries which is OK in terms of a look into the relationship between ISAF and the ANA / ANP during the protracted handover.
A few firefights, a few idealist Yanks who say "The Afghans are ready for this" while not sounding 100% convinced.
There are some fucking awesome dudes in it tho. Jamsheed from the ANA is completely badass, and there is this big black dude in the US platoon who is just cool as fuck.

Nick "The Honey Badger" Cummins is the new Bachelor. I can't wait...............
To be fair to this though, it is good marketing as this will pull a few blokes/fans to the show. I can see it being the most cringy/funny entertainment that this show could produce

@hooroo I've never watched that show...but currently kinda watching another cringe enducing train wreck reality programme while doing dishes or anything while Mrs TR has it on...some seriously dumb people out there.

Nah I reckon hes a good fluffybunny. Nothing could make me watch the bachelor though

'This Country' on BBC.
Only just caught up with this in the second series. A mockumentary comedy much like The Office that has you cringing as much as laughing.
Can only take this style in small doses but it does have some funny moments.
Even the casting has a funny undertone with the two main characters being cousins in the show but siblings in real life. Set in the Cotswolds but could just as easily be Canterbury.
