Nick "The Honey Badger" Cummins is the new Bachelor. I can't wait...............

To be fair to this though, it is good marketing as this will pull a few blokes/fans to the show. I can see it being the most cringy/funny entertainment that this show could produce

Is he actually funny or does he just sprout Aussie cliches and seem like a character compared to the 'game of two halves' 'full credit' 'take each game as it comes' standard rugby interviewee?

Nah I reckon hes a good fluffybunny. Nothing could make me watch the bachelor though

Nick Cummins opens up about his terminally ill father and rugby union

    'This Country' on BBC.

Only just caught up with this in the second series. A mockumentary comedy much like The Office that has you cringing as much as laughing.

Can only take this style in small doses but it does have some funny moments.

Even the casting has a funny undertone with the two main characters being cousins in the show but siblings in real life. Set in the Cotswolds but could just as easily be Canterbury.

It is good. The best bit for me was the end/ encore.

Watched the second season of Jessica Jones. By far the most 'real' of the Marvel TV stuff IMO probably because she doesn't really have outrageous powers. Just strong, but still vulnerable.
Wanders in and out of good storylines and silly ones but overall I find it more watchable than DD or the others. (Luke Cage has good music though)

Hap and Leonard S3 is out. Both previous seasons were a good watch, I'd recommend catching up on it if you haven't watched.

Don't think I have seen it mentioned previously but started on The Sinner on Netflix. A couple of eps in and it's still good. Bill Pullman is excellent.
A whydunnit unpicking what made an outwardly 'normal' suburban mom suddenly viciously attack and kill a nearby man in public view.
I only started it because it looked to be something that had a beginning and end to the series and wasn't going to meander around hoping for a second season. Glad I did.

Santa Clarita Diet comes back for a second season on Friday. Loved the first one.

Edit: did a site search and now realise I am just very late to the Sinner party. I see that a second series has been given the go ahead. JB not appearing in it, different storyline with Pullman again.

    Knightfall

Still going with this on SBS over here - did the catch-up thing to Episode 8.

The acting is still a bit poo, but the intrigue and bitchez killing bitchez still has a lot to offer.

not looking good for Rick and Morty. the fuckhead bigwigs at Adult Swim havent even renewed them for another season yet so the 2 writer guys aint doing shit til/if/when that happens.

funny reading about sooks whinging that the pair should write their episodes faster... when each episode has more ideas in it than most people will have in 20 lifetimes, even during their most insane drug trips.Take your time, motherfuckers! As much as you need!

Ffs one of my all time top 10 shows.

    Pickle Rick !

I have binged on Absentia over the last 3 nights.

For those that haven't seen it the series stars Stana Katic as an FBI agent, who after being declared dead in absentia for 6 years, is found alive and must reclaim her family, identity and innocence when she finds herself the prime suspect in a string of murders.

The good thing was there were enough twists and turns to keep you interested until the reveal in the final episode. Well worth watching if you like thriller/mysteries.

Thanks for that, I watched the first ep and, to me, it gave off the vibe of being one of those shows like Blindspot or Blacklist where an interesting idea gets endlessly (and boringly) milked for seasons. Maybe I wasn't in the right mood.
    Will revisit.

    Got Collateral on deck.

Into the home stretch of Season 2 of Sneaky Pete (Amazon).

Better than Season 1. Loving it

Rillington Place - based on a true story of a British serial killer in the late 40's early 50's.

An almost unrecognizable Tim Roth gives a pretty creepy performance as Reg Christie.

Thought it was pretty good, if not slow moving, but only 3 eps.
