Movie review thread...

Just saw Black Panther. Other than GOTG not a fan of Marvel etc but I thought this was one of the better ones. Still just a 3.5 out of 5. The 100% ratings are utterly absurd for a flick like this.
What I did find weird is that despite the awesome tech they were still fighting each other with spears.
The casting was mostly very good IMHO, except for Forrest Whitaker. Christ that guy has become a joke.

I've never known an actor so crap and uninteresting appear in so many decent flicks. Thank fuck he's rarely the star. Him blowing up on Rogue One was one of the great moments of the film.

As he said himself, he’s got bills to pay. Even that horrible Jaws movie bought him a house, so he doesn’t think poorly of it.

It always amazes me how much or little some actors earn.
Michael Madsen as one example was absolutely brilliant in Reservoir Dogs but it sure as shit didn't set him up for life. He was in 14 movies in one year if I remember rightly, probably all crap too as he admitted but they pay the bills.

Nope, love it, absolutely shits all over TFA and TLJ. His character was crap though.

I got through about a quarter of a book many years ago and that was it. There are few things a person can guarantee in life but me never seeing a single movie is one of them.....

I’ve never seen one either , I find Daniel Radcliffe’s face quite punchable . The only movie I’ve enjoyed him in was My Boy Jack, he was machine gunned to death in that.

I saw an interview with him where he laughingly admitted that he never turns down a job that can fit his schedule. He just sees what he does as a job.
Its like saying for every 10 stupid little spreadsheets i have to create I get to solve a task with some nice code. -

On Netflix. Looked stupid and funny, and delivered on both counts. The usual teen movie tropes were there, but with Zombies and boobies, if a little undead.
