The two england reviews have been as bad as I've seen. LBW must be absolutely plumb to get overturned. Both would be good reviews for the batsmen if given out - no idea what the hell they were thinking.

The second one was particularly bad. Wide, high and never going to hit enoguh of the stumps to overturn a 'not out'. Poor captaincy unfortunately

Yup, he has his issues with technique, but you can't doubt his mental fortitude. Not the first innings he's dug deep, and very important in the context of this test.

Kane absolutely superb though, and has shown you can play a solid test innings against the pink ball on day one. Great to see he and Boult stepping up big time against higher quality opposition. Could not ask for a better start to the series.

And I fucking love the day-night tests. Great concept, long may they continue.
