Pretty sure there is legislation around this as well, council has pretty strong rights to sell a property to recover what is a significantly smaller amount than the properties worth.

A couple of things here, if she’s been paying lawyers to defend her lunacy it would be great if this could be dragged out for a couple more years . Im sure there an extortionate bill headed her way that will feel like she’s having a colonoscopy with a camera on the end of Terry Crews arm .
Second well done to that photographer, he nicely captured her batshittery and growing resemblance to a witch in a single shot..

The way Auckland property prices are she'll not be able to afford to buy back in the same area, all for the sake of a few bucks that turned into $34k. Her legal fees will be far in excess of that

1M would barely get you a house in Te Atatu peninsula these days so after rates and legal bills she won't even be able to afford to buy there
