Speaking of which , when you’re a leftard nuance is a foreign concept and even saying you love baths is bound to offend someone and you’ll need to issue a grovelling apology

Looks like Lorde better be careful if she ever comes across Nat down a dark alley.

Salacious click bait
It's modern media. It's why we don't trust it. It's why journalists are trusted so little. Farking Stuff, Farking NZ Herald, they are all pretty shithouse click factories.

Well it was a truly disgusting tweet. Will her grovelling apology be enough?

They shouldn't call themselves journalists. What do you call someone who writes opinion pieces and calls them news?

The Herald understands Baron's boyfriend is staying at her house, where her teenage children also live.
:smiling_face_with_open_mouth_closed_eyes:
If she has a teenage daughter it will be like Xmas for the new bf

This cop story perplexes me. The student was legal, there is no mention that he was a victim or perp of crime in which case you could say conflict of interest/inappropriate.
Other than quite a big age gap, I'm struggling to see what all the pearl-clutching is about here, and why a woman who seems to have been really good at her job got forced out.

Totally agree. I was reading this and wondering why it was newsworthy.
If anything the angle should be 'Why has this respected public servant been driven from their job for her personal (and legal) relationship.'

Was she married to a fellow cop?
I'll save you the hassle of reading the story Virg, yes she was.
Let this be a lesson though, old mate @Baron-Silas-Greenback gave me a real ticking off for commenting on something I hadn't read.
Having worked in Police I can confirm the backstabbing/one upmanship can be pretty horrific. Worse than any sales job I've had. I have a feeling colleagues and co workers woulda made life particularly tough for her.

So I reckon work would have been particularly tough.
But is this News? Is it fuck....

Her husband has quit the cops too.

Shame she deleted it. Easily the best thing she’s ever written. If she replies “Oh fuck off. It’s funny and you know it you humourless pricks” then I’ll even buy one of her albums.

@jegga I saw that article and thought no need to post that. Jeg will all over it.
There's a joke somewhere in there about it getting sand out, but damned if I can think of it right now.

Hot and moist would certainly be preferable to sandy.
I was going to tell myself off for lowering the tone, but actually Stuff already did that (lowered the tone, not told me off).
