@bovidae She was an...interesting political choice.

    Fixed.

No sympathy for Netball NZ from me when you choose a coach who had won nothing at senior level before the appointment. It's obvious who should have been the coach but Taurua didn't even get an interview. Not a favourite with the suits (or skirts) at NNZ.

Gees the cyclists have been impressive.

Joelle King has won her squash semi, will be playing for gold tomorrow.

That is a great win as Nicol David is probably the greatest womens player ever and was the 2-time defending CG champ.

Campbell Stewart takes silver in the men's point race. Also Paul Coll won his squash semi, so will be playing for gold.

Our netball team is an embarrassment these days.
How the hell did we come to be so bad?

@gunner Sounds like (on the radio at least) that something has been rotten within NZ Netball for a few years now and this is the rot showing through.

This might be the catalyst to clear the decks then

Regular thumpings in the now gone trans Ta$man comp showed there were big problems. Now the comp is done itโ€™s onky gotten worse.

Netball NZ has caught a bad does of NRL and 2016-2017 Warriors blues. They are definitely making losing a habit!!

Did this shit-storm of poor coaching and selection issues start after Raelene Castle left? ah a quick google shows she left in 2013.

Anywho... on to celebrating the awesome efforts of the rest of our athletes!
