Watched the last quarter of Pels/Blazers. The thing that surprised me was the lack of big plays by Davis down the stretch - it was all Holiday, Rondo and Mirotic.

Don't think they are good enough to knock off the Warriors, but they will probably pinch a game or two from them.

@barbarian Im surprised by Rondo this season. He is pretty much back to his Boston form.

Im more surprised by the Blazers inability to cope. They were looking the business late in the season.

@raznomore Yeah when they levelled the scores with five minutes to go I thought 'here we go, Dame will get them home'.

But then the Pelicans went up a gear and just buried them.

Some role player called James is having a whale of a time. 29 in the first half.

Why aren't his shoulders wrecked from carrying that team?

Could he actually be the best ever? I used to watch a lot of Jordan and thought no one would ever get near him in terms of being so dominate.

I don't watch a lot now so can't offer a real opinion on James.

Watching through League Pass, the one thing that really annoys me is the commentary. The home town announcers are just excruciating, in 95% of locations.

Listening to the OKC guys at the moment... they make me long for Kearnsy and Marto.

slight aside, I'm taking the kids to the Harlem Globetrotters tonight. Looking forward to it, it's supposed to be wildly entertaining.

Jazz were good today. OKC pushed too many passes and took too many high risk shots. Steven Adams fouled out way too early and although some of those fouls were soft he needs to be better next game. When he leaves Melo is then required to defend to a level that you would expect from a future HOF but he just isn't good enough and it showed. He's old gotta cut him slack. Brewer really needs to be that other elite defender and TBH thats what he was signed for. Just not getting that from him though. Really missing Roberson in these types of Games.

That said, Gobert & Rubio played well and Mitchell is insane for a rookie. 20pt average for a rookie and the way he scores is phenom material.

Impressive win by the 76ers in Miami. Was close for the first three quarters but they blew out the Heat in the 4th.

At their best they can beat anyone. Embiid was back and he's just a freak, and Simmons had one of those games where he looked a bit below his best but then you see his stat line and he's got 18-10-7. And they have so much depth. Big game from Saric today, and Bellinelli couldn't miss.

I'm still not sold on them winning the conference, but man they can put a quarter together when they want to.

Curry's not playing, and still the Spurs are going to get swept.

They might have had a hard time focusing today though.

The Spurs are missing their best player too. Who knows if he'll ever return, though.

                            @mariner4life told you...

There was his perception that he was the new Tim Duncan, demeanor etc, and that he was the perfect fit for the Spurs. But he's certainly not a Duncan. ore like a KD. Great player though.

It's a 4 vs 5 matchup so an upset would not be unexpected. The Pacers also won 3 of 4 regular season games.

                                      Bucks looked excellent defensively today.

The Cavs / Pacers series will go the distance I reckon.

OKC is about to go down 2-1 to the Jazz. Adams was in foul trouble so there was no shot-stopper inside. Too many open looks for the Jazz from the likes of Ingles. Meanwhile OKC couldn't buy a shot for most of the 4th Q. Unless a couple of the big 3 go crazy in game 4 I think OKC will be going home on Tuesday.

I still can't get used to the Jazz wearing yellow and red.

OKC has arguably the three best players in the series, all of whom have led their team to the Conference Finals. And today they were blown away by a Jazz team really light on playoff experience.

Yet again Russ, PG and Melo went missing in the crunch minutes, while Rubio, Ingles and Mitchell were draining bucket after bucket. Adams gets in foul trouble early and they end up relying on Raymond Felton.

OKC can still win the series, but they need their big three to stand up ASAP.
