    @kiwimurph Cheers, I've corrected the score. The Landrover 1st XV page - where I got most results from - is reasonably good, but occasionally they get it wrong.

    @mikedogz I understand from what I read on FB, that some of the games played by Chiefs schools in other competitions (in this case CNI: FDMC v Wesley) double up as Chiefs Cup games. @Bovidae already posted the result of the Rotorua v Tauranga game, which may or may not double up as a Chiefs Cup and Super 8 game.

    Based on the schedule I have for Hamilton BHS the Super 8 starts in June. This month is only local derbies.

    @bovidae They do not always stick to the schedule though. Some games are moved to make way for traditionals or for games against touring (foreign) teams. Happens every year, and quite often.

    Could be, Looking at the draws through the Counties website Wesley have:
    15 May vs Tauranga Boys (Chiefs Cup)
    19 May vs Francis Douglas College (Chiefs Cup) Last Saturday's game could be the one that counts

    They played St Peters on 2 May for CNI comp. Saturday games are for CNI

    @stargazer

    Hamilton's traditional fixtures are all against Super 8 schools (NPBHS, TBC). Their main traditional game is Auckland GS but they've wussed out. I don't know the details of other schools.

    I'm a bit surprised by the MAGS v De La Salle result. I was expecting the scoreline to be the other way around. Is that result confirmed?

    So looks like Hastings Boys two years of glory are over, normal service resumed ... oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

    I'll put their loss down to jet lag.

    Have TA always been in the CNI comp? Think they have had about 2-3 competitive years since 2000 CHB would have surely been a more consistent performer outside of the SJC and LFC teams in HB

    @magpie_in_aus I think they were added two or three years ago, but I'm not sure about that.

    Te Awamutu were playing in the Counties-Manakau-Waikato comp the last couple of years. They've got a lot better recently in all their rugby (I suspect the whole school as a whole has).

    I think that CMW comp has folded though, and some of the Waikato teams are now CNI (which used to be mostly private and ex-private schools) and some like Wesley dropped out(?).

    Cambridge have dropped quite a long way recently. Can't say I mind, as I do not have good memories of playing Cambridge teams. It's their parents that I hate, the school itself is OK.
