I've got nothing against Rey, Jyn, Leia or Padme it's the new females in the latest one I can't stand and I'm hardly alone there.
I can guarantee Solo will be better than TLJ.

Initial reactions by who? The critics? That would be the same ones who creamed themselves over TLJ. If the film is good then I'll say so, just like I did with Rogue One. I'm not paying to see this one though.

I didn’t bring it in, a good chunk of the trolls who kept hijacking Star Wars media posts on fb etc were.
I even made the point previously that if both those characters were men most of the hate wouldn’t happen.We all dislike movies but I’ve never seen a particular movie trolled and brought up in such a way so often as this move has been. We get it you didn’t like it, why keep bringing it up, pretty much any time someone says they like it there’s someone quick to jump in and remind everyone how much it sucked.

Sure Virgil, it's only because they're women. I mean the male characters never cop any hate. Only the female ones. All the vitriol against the prequels was directed at Padme wasn't it? Maybe just maybe they actually are really shity characters? But I guess it's so much easier to use the racism or mysogeny cards rather than actually provide good reasons for why you believe you're right. Just a thought.
Maybe these films are being trolled because people are sick of their beloved films being completely fucked over and ruined?
