I didn't see the Cup QF and SF, but the BFs have made it to the Final in which they will, as expected, play Australia.

      Cup QF: NZ 17 - 12 England
      Cup SF: NZ 33 - 10 USA

The Final kicks off at 11.20am.
Live on Sky Sport pop-up 2.

Tuned in late, but it's 7 - 0 to the BFs with 3 and a half minutes to go in the 1st half.

Now Brazier over after a quick tap. Penalty was for a high tackle on Tui.

17 - 0 NZ. First half almost over.

Bloody hell, this is brilliant. Aussies not releasing (again), quick tap Goss (?) and Woodman goes for a run.

                Half time: NZ 22 - 0 Australia

Aussies not having their day. Kick out on the full from the kick-off.

Australian defence non-existent. Williams slices through the Aussie line and dots down. 27 - 0 NZ

Now they knock-on. NZ putting good pressure on the Aussies. They're on fire!

Now they're just toying with the Aussie girls. Behind the back pass from Blyde to Williams, who scores another try. It's a massacre.

                        34 - 0 with 2 minutes to go.

Aussies again not releasing. Goss is the Boss. Try!

                          Record being broken. Old record against Australia was 28 - 5. Now it's 39 - 0.

Brazier shows again she'd be good at football, too. Try after the hooter.

Black Ferns 7s win 46 - 0. That donut will taste good after what happened in Sydney! So dominant! Awesome!

With one more tournament to go (Paris), we're still in it, but grabbing the Series win won't be easy.

@stargazer So the BFs need to be strategic in pool play to be on the same side of the draw as the Aussies..
If they can knock them off in the semis, they can then play on for the final..

I cant see anyone else beating the Aussies

@stargazer So the BFs need to be strategic in pool play to be on the same side of the draw as the Aussies..
If they can knock them off in the semis, they can then play on for the final..

I cant see anyone else beating the Aussies

@mimic Yes, although that would be a tricky strategy as they (obviously) can't control the performace of other teams. The three 1st placed, three 2nd placed and two best 3rd placed teams go through to the Cup QFs, so placing seems less predictable?

“We talk a lot about who leads and influences our team. Sione co-captained the team in Singapore so he was an obvious choice. Kurt is a big influence on our team environment so it is about developing him to assist us to grow the team. It’s a great opportunity for those two boys to grow and take charge of the team.”

With several players unavailable for selection, Hong Kong debutants Bailey Simonsson, Salesi Rayasi and Jona Nareki are in line for their second tournament appearances while Regan Ware returns to add experience to the backline.
