Finished The Fall last night, prett good, a few plot flaws like most but otherwise pretty good.

Dunno if they are looking at a 2nd series, but leaves it open but also for you to decide what you think happens, also Gillian Anderson still looks pretty tidy!!
Yeah, there's another one in the works apparently.

Thought it was good apart from the "Lets up sticks and move literally within 24 hours despite having no money and work commitments" thing.

The stuff centred on the killer was good - genuinely disturbing and quite insightful. Everything else was a bit dull and rather cliched. All the "walking marriage" stuff seemed very tacked on.

Yes that, as well as the setting in Belfast.

Yeah, that seemed like they'd merged two unreleated scripts together.

I think it'd be better if they left it alone, there is enough there for you to think one of the 2 obvious conclusions happened.
I guess you could explain away the fact they upped and off so quickly by the fact he was probably on suspension from his job, and she had a day or so between him making up that story - which BTW, wtf kind of story was that to make up, I guess it was easy as he could nurture the idea with the girl - so she may have asked for a few days off to deal with her issues. But like I said, a few plot holes like most shows.
New Series 'The Bridge' just started. Looks like it could be good. Another Danish redo
set on the border between El Paso and Juarez, The Bridge centers on two detectives, one from the United States and one from Mexico, who must work together to hunt down a serial killer operating on both sides of the U.S.-Mexican border. Executive Producers Meredith Stiehm Homeland and novelist and television writer/producer Elwood Reid adapted The Bridge for American television from the international hit series Bron, which was set on the border of Denmark and Sweden.
Watched two episodes and the verdict is 'really bad'. Bad acting, cartoon characters, illogical storylines (ignoring the whole Dome bit), poor production values.......it is just shit.

The Bridge - good start, good acting, worth seeing how it goes.

On that note - had nothing to watch the other week and had been talking to someone about sons so asked the missus if she wanted to watch the first episode. Who knew! Sons seems to have massive chick appeal, she loves it more than I do. Have covered four and a half seasons in only about three weeks.

Have enjoyed rewatching too, seems I'd forgotten a lot that went on!

Here's one to suggest to watch with the missus. 'Labyrinth' - a chick orientated 'Holy Grail' mystery set in France with costumes......yawn, yawn

BUT..... there is nudity from the hot Downton Abbey daughter!

Recorded the first two episodes and watched the first last night. Incredible cast, stunning scenery, slightly mental story line. Enjoying it so far.

I recorded and then ignored TOTL for ages but then really enjoyed it. Brooding edgy slightly dangerous. Well put together. Final episode is disappointingly predictable but nevertheless better than 95% of the dross served up today. .
