That was way better than it had any right to be. Han was good, sometimes very good but his voice just wasn’t deep enough. Looked the part though.
As expected, Don Glover stole every scene he was in. Would enjoy a Lando film.
Jarvis was a bit underwhelming/not intimidating enough as the big bad. The original casting might of helped there.
But overall, a good heist film. A good Star Wars film, probably have to say it was better than the Last Jedi by some distance.
Left me wanting more.

Those pricks aren't seeing anymore of my money.
I had a very interesting conversation yesterday. It was my youngests birthday party and one of his friends has a dad who is a massive Star Wars fan. How massive? He named his farking youngest kid Lando. I shit you not. This kid is also albino white which is hilarious. Anyway I asked this kid (not Lando his brother) whether they were going to see Solo. He said no and that none of them liked the new films. I dug a bit further and apparently their dad absolutely hated the new films, particularly with what they'd done to Han and Luke.
So yeah, this isn't an isolated thing and as much as some braindead tools want to chalk it all down to mysogeny and racism, it is simply due to the new films being multiple shades of shit.
But what I'd really like to know what it is what makes the prequels so irredeemably bad, but the new films so awesome. I'm genuinely interested in the answer to that one.
