LBJ has never had a player like Pippen at the Cavs.

Jordan never had a cakewalk Eastern Conference like LBJ has had.

@kiwimurph one of the major sticking points for Lebron sycophants is that Jordan never had to play anyone tough to get his rings.

Lets all just remember that the Cavs were taken to 7 games by a rookie led Celtics..

MJs Bulls had to play teams stacked with hall of fame players.

    Portland; Drexler Duckworth Williams Jersey
    Lakers; Magic and Showtime
Phoenix; Charles, KJ, Majerle, Chambers, can't remember the rest but they were the best Suns team ever
    Seattle; the Glove, Rain man
    Utah; Stockton Malone Hornacek

    No scrubs there.

Then again I'm not sure MJ ever had a supporting cast as bad as this current performing Cavs roster

    @raznomore

I have never said that, and I'm not a LBJ sycophant either. My favourite player is neither of them. 😉

The NBA is very different now and I'll take the 1980s and 1990s over what we see today because there were great rivalries (Lakers vs Celtics, Bulls vs Pistons, Knicks vs Pacers, Rockets vs Knicks etc). My only point was to say that Pippen was a better no.2 than anyone LBJ has had at the Cavs. That doesn't diminish what MJ did.

The funny thing is that if the Celtics had Kyrie, I think they would’ve won. Kyrie is class and a future HoF’er. The Celts lacked the class to close it out when it was there for the taking.

Irving and Love are very good players but I don't see either of them in the revised 50 Greatest NBA players list. The skinny dude from Central Arkansas is.

@mariner4life slight caveat. See game one is at 4-4 in the NHL. Super game!

Rockets imploded in a very similar manner to the Celtics last night. Just kept bricking 3 after 3.

Apparently this was the first time this season they've shot under 20% from 3 (7/44). Maybe it's the moment, maybe it's fatigue, and maybe they just died by the sword they lived by all year. But it was tough to watch.

At the other end, Curry and Durant stepped up in the second half and stamped their class on the game. Big moments from big players.

Just finished watching game 7. Houston were ice cold despite seeing a lot of good looks from 3, just as the warriors all got hot from deep. Harden barely featured in the fourth quarter, he must have at least been outscored by Tucker. They even started missing a few FTs as well. HOU were so obsessed by the 3 that they left it too late to switch tack and go inside where points were easier to come by. With no CP3 we can only wonder what might have been, but Paul can't make his team mates make already open shots. Houston shot so poorly I wonder if that won't leave a mental scar. At least they didn't lose a game through poor FT shooting like Nick Anderson
