Right, I'm crying out for help. I'm up to S02E09 of Westworld and surprise surprise my tiny brain is completely lost. I'm literally watching purely in the hope that something somewhere is going to make sense. I was kinda hoping it might have happened by now.

Can anyone point me towards any type of media that may help clarify the situation?

Surprised you and @MN5 can find the right channel to watch it 😜

My mistake thought you were still
Stuck in season 1, season 2 is much worse!
    There’s still different timelines
The first ep where Bernard is washed up etc is 2 weeks into the future
Everything else in the park is leading up to meet at that moment ( where we saw all the dead hosts floating in that lake)

There's been barely any tits in season 2. Clementine was wearing a nice low cut dress though.

    Westworld season two, episode 10

What a great episode, confirming a few things I had surmised and discussed with others. Then I realised I was only half way through the episode...

    Delores!

Now where did the data go?

A good solid bit of TV that made me regret being an alcoholic. Watching all of that drunk, I got very little idea of how the fuck that all made sense.
But oh hell, that little bit after the credits... that was some nasty shit.

Was a mindfuck of an episode alright
Might need a few more viewings to work it out.
So looking back, some of those Charlotte Hale scenes weren’t ‘Charlotte Hale’..

Yeah I'm gonna have to too, especially the last 20 as I was watching it late last night and was pretty tired.

I wasn't able to watch the Westworld finale until this evening so avoided any spoliers.

    :::

The timelines in season 2 have been more difficult to follow but I believe the disjointed nature of the scenes are because we are seeing them as Bernard experiences these memories. He has been the narrator as such.

It would be interesting to view both seasons in chronological order.

Stubbs is obviously a host too if you listen to what he says in his final conversation with Hale, and he knows Charlotte is a host too.

As to the post-credit scenes with the MIB, that is likely in the future, and I read that Nolan sort of confirmed it.

I think there are plenty of opportunities for S3 and we'll see Maeve and other main characters return.

I haven't even starting watching Westworld. At the moment viewers seem to fall into a few different camps.

"I have no idea what is going on but it's cool anyway."
"I have no idea what is going on but like to think I do."
"WTF is going on? I'm meant to like this as it's cool but I am lost."

I can't work out which of those groups I'd like to join so have opted for.

"I have no idea what is going on because I don't watch it which puts me in the same basic position as those that do."

It's the same position I took with Lost except I wasted a couple of years getting there.

@crucial nah Lostbtried to pretend it was something else (literally when fans worked out the whole plot) but turned out it was that all along.

That’s the point. When they did that no one had any idea wtf was going on, Some pretended to, some watched anyway and others didn’t bother

@crucial I dont think the WW writers have come out and denied any endings or plot directions though have they, that is where the writers of Lost got, well lost.

Someone with too much time on their hands has generated a timeline for Westworld across both seasons.

Kim Renfro, Ruobing Su  /  May 12, 2020  /  Entertainment

An essential timeline of every important event on 'Westworld'

An essential timeline of every important event on 'Westworld'

Insider created a linear timeline of HBO's sci-fi drama "Westworld," untangling the flashbacks and revelations from all three seasons.
