How many years since Wales had a non-NZer as a head coach?

@hooroo Jenkins in 2007, and Ruddock from 2004 to 2006.

@hooroo They had Ruddock in 04-06? So 2007 until now for Gatland.

Take Ruddock out and it was 1998. Might have been a part timer for a couple of games between Henry and Hansen - can't remember...

I've always rated Pivac. He always did well with his NPC teams , all 3 of them in Blues region. Never got a Blues gig. Needs to work on his networking skills, obviously.

Yep - agreed Mike. Could be the next Joe Schmidt on the European scene.

Never gave less than his all

A post-rugby career in the media, and financial security for him and his family, is just reward for putting his body on the line

@bones None of them (obviously), but add up all the caps that squad members such as Thompson, Messam, Vito, Luatua and L Whitelock got in the last 8-9 years....

All jokes aside, I've always enjoyed Stuart Barnes as a pundit ... and now I think I enjoy him even more.

Literally has wound up the whole of Wales!!

Barnes just confirming his bitterness and outdatedness.

Made countless digs at Warburton during his career - most notably being Gatland's pet for the Lions - and almost every time Warburton did his talking on the pitch and proved Barnes oh so wrong.

Barnes obviously recognises a decent man, pity he couldn't accept he was wrong and be one.
