So a bit of a TV round up from me.
 
Homeland: I've always been prepared to cut Homeland a bit of slack because I've always enjoyed the show and Dana Brodie doesn't seem to annoy me as much as she does the rest of the known world, but: [spoiler]WTF with Carrie yet again ignoring her superiors and nearly stuff up another mission. It's just stupid, and bad writing. She's supposed to be this intelligent spy yet she's constantly doing stupid things. I'm almost at the point where I hoped that the bullet hit her in the head and not the shoulder. TBH, I'd much prefer to see the Saul and Quinn show than Saul, Carrie and Brodie show.[/spoiler]
 
Anyone still watching Boardwalk Empire? I've thought it's been an ok season for a show I kind of like but don't love. [spoiler]I got extremely excited last week when Chalky and Harrow were together and I thought they were going to band together to take down the Dr - a character that annoys me. I'm sick of these 'bad guy' characters that are crafted these days with impeccable manners etc but they're only suppressing their real rage blah blah blah.
 
I also don't believe that Eli would just roll over like he has, I've thought for the last couple of episodes that he was just playing the FBI guy but it appears he's not. 
 
I guess that has always been one of the failings of Boardwalk Empire for me, how they have characters do stuff that just seems silly ... like when Jimmy just toddled off to his death.[/spoiler]
 
 
I've also started watching Orange is the New Black (I'm up to episode 5). I'm liking it ok but it's maybe suffering a bit with the hype coming in. I don't really like the lead actress either which makes it a bit harder when the shows about her character. Still, it's a watchable show and I'm happy to keep watching it.

Luigi, that "Blacklist" is fucking ridiculous, and i cut it after one episode. I too couldn't get past the fact that the only competant person in the whole FBI was the newbie profiler on her first day. Fuck off.

[spoiler]yea, that thing with the bomber was fuuucking stupid. waaaah i want to clear broooodie, waaaah, because i am a fucking nutbar (who got myself knocked up) but for some reason still have security clearance. Quinn is awesome, lets focus on him being a conflicted badass for a while. 
at this stage i feel like i am only watching it because i enjoyed the first 2 seasons.[/spoiler]
 
and on the Sons
[spoiler]it is becoming clear Jax is fucked. He can't find a way to get what he wants, they are in too deep. 
Jemma Teller is a fluffybunny, and i hope she fucking dies. 
I feel sorry for Tara, she is pretty fucked now as well. Saw an interesting interview with her, where she discussed the fans reaction to waht she did, and they all hated on Tara for it, while Jax can pretty much do whatever he wants. It actually frustrates me that Jax can't see he drover her to this. 
I have no sympathy for anyone except Nero. [/spoiler]

Yeah really feeling for Tara, she has basically fallen into the 'old lady' life and ended up like Gemma, despite her efforts to keep abit of distance and not be like Gemma. Jax needs to grow a pair and sever the umbilical cord. 
I wonder if Nero was supposed to be in for this long, but he is carrying things at the moment I reckon.[/spoiler]

Burning Love.
 
It is actually a web series, that has now made it's way onto TV via the E! Chanel in the US (and Australia apparently). It is a spoof of the Bachelor/Bachelorette terrible reality TV dating shows. Stars most of the cast of Party Down/Veronica Mars/The League and cameos by a ton of big stars. Much funnier if you have had to sit through episodes of the Bachelor with your partner. not really a TV series as such, but i have been watching a "30 for 30" documentary on ESPN every Tuesday night (they seem to be re-playing some old ones) they really are very good. Sure, very Ameri-centric, but the stories are great. I really enjoyed the one on the ABA team that showed "Semi Pro" wasn't that far off! And the dude that scammed his way to owning the New York Islanders.

[spoiler]TBH, I wasn't that excited with the Clay killing, I'd gotten used to him still being around although I agree with Rusty (and probably everyone) that he should have been killed ages ago. But it was great to see Gaillen (sp?) get killed, they managed to create the most annoying Irish characters through the run of the SOA series.[/spoiler]

The DA knows they sold the guns that were used to kill those kids. The DA knows it was them that broke out Clay, and killed a cop. The DA also knows it was them that killed Clay, Gaylen and the others. How can they not be fucked? 
Do the choonzies still have Happy? Won't they be pissed as well? 
And Tara is now fucked as well, she talks, and rats everyone out, or the DA throws the book at her. 
I kinda thought Clay wasn't going to get what was coming to him, the way it was always put off. It was pretty shocking to see it happen. 
I feel sorry for Wayne.

Surely Jax must have some other plan in the pipes, otherwise he has just farked up big time! I was expecting him to get on the phone to the DA claiming a sh!tstorm and that was the result. So you think he must have something else up his sleeve, unless this whole thing with Tara is clouding his judgement into thinking the DA will be satisfied with 3 dead IRA and Clay as opposed to being able to convict a top IRA...
 
That dumb cop who Juice ran over, why would you try to be heroic in that situation, just farken stupid as there really is only 1 outcome!
 
I dont reckon Tara will hand over the bullet just yet, she obviously still loves Jax and is torn between betraying him further and providing a better future for her kids.
 
Uncer's character has always been a bit of a sad one, if Gemma didnt know he has been in love with her all these years, she is even more farked than I thought.
 
I guess with Jax all but forcing the IRA into the gun trade with the 'black', maybe he wil get them to help free Happy, or again, maybe he thinks the Chinese will be satisfied Gaylen is dead?

[spoiler]I was a bit confused by the plan as well - I thought Jaz would have done it to make like the Irish busted Clay out and not the club. It seems like Jax has left them in a place where they are more exposed to the law than before.
 
I think the dumb cop was just stupid writing by Sutter.
 
I'm hoping this series wraps up the DA's storyline and that next season we see the return of the leader of the white supremacists who owned the cigar shop.
