@mokey the spinoff seems obsessesed with Hosking and their contributors write sanctimonious crap like this directed at him and the he gets the last laugh when their tv show is utterly awful. This story would be better if Hosking was likeable in some way but since there’s only one of him and about a dozen cretins sniping at him I’m cool with it.

@jegga Yep. And $700k is a shitload of money to waste on a show where they actually say 'we have no idea what we are doing'.
The thing is with comedy, it is super hard to write funny/witty one liners. Great presenters and actors can sometimes make poor dialogue work, but if you have shit writing and shit presenting, that is a guaranteed disaster. And not knowing what the purpose/tone of the show is supposed to be will only make it worse.

Rosemary MacLeod has waded into this as well. Her arguments are somewhat tenuous .
Her and Southern actually have something in common , they’ve both been harassed by transgender activists . McLeod wrote this a while ago and the trans community was very angry.

I pay the same rates as him and my rubbish isn't collected for free, it is a more civilised hour though.
Your point remains valid however I would find better ammunition when he goes to council, eggs and rotten tomatoes are a bit old. Shit is also old but shows far more depth of feeling.
