On Thursd ... oh, wait ...

Usually on the Sunday morning after the Semi-Final they name the squad for the game of three halves, don't they? IIRC, that's the RC squad minus Finalists and plus injury cover and cover for the Finalists.

Sunday or Sundee for us Aussie residents.

The Bop union said they would officially announce their squad last Friday but as yet there's been nothing. It seems odd really as they are in camp at the moment and have their first preseason game in four days so I can't understand the delay.

I’d say it will be pretty stock standard. Maybe Brodie McAllister , Harrison Allen , Hamish Dalziel , Tom Christie , Hugh Renton , ngane punivai might push their way in. Would love to see Sam Gilbert in there after under 19s. He has been killing div 1 this year

Ray Nu'u is a guy I have very high hopes for, apparently he didnt make the squad because they don't want any more inexperienced midfielders.

So Dale McLeod has signed him for Southland.

A big loss, he's had an amazing season.

@sammyc I’d say they sent him down there to get some experience. Still only 19 so got plenty of time. Great player

@rapido Robbie played a fair bit at first five - including occasionally for the Mako. James Marshall similarly - though more fullback once he left Ta$man.

Will Jordan looks like he could play wing pretty comfortably - if he ever gets back to playing.

A good majority of last years' Canterbury squad are still available. I don't follow club rugby overly closely these days so I'm not sure who the next cabs off the rank are at hooker if we're missing all of Taylor, Funnell and Vella, plus in the loosies with Todd, Brown and Sanders all unavailable. Is Bird off now? Good depth available at prop and throughout the backs though, wiht the possible exclusion of midfield. A possible XV:

                                  15 Bridge

A good majority of last years' Canterbury squad are still available. I don't follow club rugby overly closely these days so I'm not sure who the next cabs off the rank are at hooker if we're missing all of Taylor, Funnell and Vella, plus in the loosies with Todd, Brown and Sanders all unavailable. @shark said in Mitre 10 Cup - news, injuries etc:

                                    Funnell and Vella

                                    What's up with those two?

Who'll replace Mo'unga if he's with the ABs?

@chchfanatic You know this Winger apparently moved back from League Josh Aileone - University, Maddocks has him in the wider training group

@rapido Robbie played a fair bit at first five - including occasionally for the Mako. James Marshall similarly - though more fullback once he left Ta$man.

Will Jordan looks like he could play wing pretty comfortably - if he ever gets back to playing.
