funny story, well i think so.
I remember watching Fight Club when it first came out. Was me my brothers and our step dad. Great guy, lovely bloke but not what you consider to be the sharpest tool in the shed. 5 mins in he goes, i think Brad Pitts character is imaginary, he doesnt exist. I recall thinking fuck off, thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard.. -

To actually add to this thread, I saw Drive with Ryan Gosling last night. Gosling is a great actor but it was a pretty ordinary film.

Fun fact. Apparently the original line for that scene was "I want to have your abortion" ..but that was regarded as too extreme

Probably gave the Pixies half their current fanbase though.
